Explore, Dream, Discover

"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do, so throw off the bowlines, sail away from safe harbor, catch the trade winds in your sails.  Explore, Dream, Discover." –Mark Twain

I'm back! The last time I blogged was 2013 and so much has happened since then! It would take me an eternity to catch everyone up so I'll just summarize:
I started college at MSU
College has me worrying about my future
I couldn't sleep last night
I've been looking into majors that involve writing
A thought occurred to me..
Why did I stop blogging?!

So, I decided to give this blog a makeover, a new name, a new url, new layout, everything. I miss when I was 14 years old and so determined to get that one post in every day. What happened?

I'm bringing this blog back with an inspirational quote above. I thought this was correlated to my current situation. College is supposed to be about getting involved and breaking out of your comfort zone, exploring, and discovering new things. I'm still trying to do just that. Freshman year is basically over (May 6th!) and I have the whole summer to prepare myself for the rest of my college experience! I wanted to share my adventures with others (this scares me more now than when I was 14 and started this blog). I can't wait to travel (especially up north: picture above), spend time with friends and family, read new books (!!!!!!!!!), attend exciting events, and just simply relax after such a crazy first year.

This blog used to be called Fashion Mist and was mainly a fashion blog alone. Now, it's going to be my personal and fashion blog. What to expect now: Fashion, books, movies, quotes, shows, inspiration, food, ramblings, etc.

What I truly want to say is that I don't know how I stopped writing. I went through some rough years and now I finally had time to sit down and reflect (I should be studying for exams, what am I doing right now). Anyways, writing used to make me so happy. But then it started to become a sort of chore and I think I just ran away from it out of fear. It always used to be fun and I began putting pressure on myself and that fun slowly diminished. That's why I'm ready to start over and rediscover my passion. I'm looking forward to sharing my experiences, likes, dislikes, thoughts, gaining new readers, and reconnecting with old ones.

Question: Where do you see yourself in twenty years?
